Round Heuvelland

This sharp, loop-shaped bike tour along the 8 villages of Heuvelland starts at Dries in the municipality of Kemmel, where the Heuvelland tourist information is also located.
We ride around, not over, the Kemmelberg, Rodeberg, and Scherpeberg, enjoying the many unique viewpoints.
The tour goes from Kemmel via Wijtschate, Wulvergem, Nieuwkerke, Dranouter, Loker, Westouter, De Klijte back to Kemmel.
Along the way, we pass numerous relics of the First World War: military cemeteries, monuments, bunkers, German trenches, ammunition craters.
But we also pass beautiful vineyards, picturesque village squares, magnificent nature reserves, and many restaurants; there is no shortage of food and drink!
