During this walking route through the green heart of Flanders, you'll discover an intriguing mix of history and architecture. You start at junction 50 and walk past the Kapittelhuis, the former residence of the canons of the Sint-Gorgoniuskerk, where the spiritual tradition has been alive since 981. Next, you will arrive at the Celismolen, an ancient watermill that takes you back to the Middle Ages. The route continues to the famous breweries of Hoegaarden, where you learn more about the rich beer culture. From the historic Brouwerij De Kluis to the merger brewery Inbev, you get a unique glimpse into the brewing process.
