Leie region cycling route 2021 via Deurle

My start is at Astene-sas: Hellestraat, 9800 Astene, Belgium
Routing Recreational cycling - junctions - renewed cycling route 2021 but with some personal adjustments!

Update April 2023:

Between junction 90 and 86, there are major road works on PONTSTRAAT DEURLE! As a cyclist, you can still pass through via VOORDELAAN, which runs parallel to the cycling route.

At junction 86, I turn right towards the most beautiful village of East Flanders "Deurle".

Beautiful route along the Leie, through the bike-friendly center of Ghent, via Ledeberg to the 2 cycling bridges (over ringvaart and E40) follow the old railway track the cycling highway f7 to St. Denijs-Westrem and then to Deinze via the beautiful Astene avenue.

In Deinze at the station, I deviate from the junction route and follow the bike street/F7 just before the bike bridge, briefly left and then immediately right through the bike tunnel. Along St. Martin's Park and the Leie over the new walking/cycling bridge "Brielpoort," past the Mudel to the right. This way you reach junctions 5 and 6 at St. Poppoplein/church. (This route of 1.5 km in the center of Deinze to reach junctions 5 and 6 is much more bike-friendly and safer!)
