The tour starts with a highlight of the region, the monastery in Chorin, leads through shady forests to the eco-village Brodowin and further to the former boatmens village Oderberg. On the circular route Around the Schorfheide, hikers can look forward to a varied tour with changing landscapes. Over 135 km in 7 stages, you traverse the region around the Schorfheide. The Cistercian monastery captivates us with the rich red of the brick building as well as delicate Gothic architecture and invites us to further discoveries inside. Through a wooded area, we reach Brodowin, where the well-known eco-village Brodowin with a farm shop and beer garden awaits beyond its borders. The largest Demeter farm in Germany and also the largest employer in the region is probably known to many Berliners, not least because of its vegetable boxes. Regular farm tours round out the range of offerings.
