The small village of Kollm, which is located directly on the reservoir, is an excellent starting point for your tour. From here, you can explore the largest reservoir in Saxony by canoe, sailing boat or surfboard. From Kollm, your route first takes you to Groß Radisch, where the viewing tower on the 293-metre-high Monumentberg is well worth a visit, and from Groß Radisch it is worth making a detour to the lovingly maintained game reserve in Thräna. On your circular tour, the trail continues to Weigersdorf. The small pond farm in Weigersdorf is a hive of activity, especially in the fall during the annual fishing season. The route continues via Leipgen and Ölsa to Steinölsa, where the Crazy Horse Ranch will take you back to the time of Indians and cowboys, after which you cycle back to Kollm at a leisurely pace.
