The 14 kilometer long adventure trail was created through the cooperation of the municipality of Butjadingen and the city of Nordenham and starts at Mitteldeich, leads through Stollhamm and Abbehausen, and ends at the train station in Nordenham, offering a great experience for both young and old.
Along the route, there are information signs providing details about the Butjenter Bahn and other topics, as well as publicly accessible bike repair stations. These stations give cyclists the opportunity to make minor repairs themselves.
The route follows the historical course for 12.8 kilometers, in the tracks of the old rails of the Butjenter Bahn.
For younger explorers, participating in the Railway Rally offers the chance to win a surprise at the end with the correct answers.
