Rundweg Lohberg

The starting point for this circular trail around Lohberg is the tourist information office. From there, the forest path first leads slightly downhill towards Zackermühle. Here the path makes a U-turn and continues slightly uphill towards Huberkreuz and past the leisure sports facilities. Soon afterwards, the forest path ends for a short stretch and you reach the Oberlohberg district. You pass this district via side roads with little traffic - Kastlweg, Lindenweg and Lärchenweg. In Oberlohberg you have a beautiful view of the opposite mountain ridge with the Arber, Enzian, Heugstatt and Schwarzeck. The trail then continues on a forest and meadow path through the so-called "Fuchshöhle" and past the Schusterkreuz. Here you can enjoy the wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. Shortly afterwards, you will pass the "Alte Kirche" glassworks - always worth a visit - and after a few meters you will reach the starting point at the tourist information office. Our tip: about 200 meters from the glassworks is the garden of the Lohberg fruit and horticultural association - entry is expressly permitted! An idyllic garden with benches where you can listen to the splashing of the glass fountain.
