Transpole Urban Trail
The Transpole Urban Trail is a long-distance walking route that connects the cities of the Lille agglomeration: from Mouscron via Tourcoing and Roubaix and through Villeneuve d’Ascq to old Lille. The route passes by dozens of jewels of industrial archaeology, and sometimes also through parks and forgotten green patches. It is just across the Belgian-French border, and the four stations are on a direct train line from Antwerp via Ghent and Kortrijk to Lille (Lille Flandres). Lille, Tourcoing, and Roubaix are also connected by a metro line and two tram lines.

Transpole Urban Trail (texte français)
Le Transpole Urban Trail est un itinéraire de randonnée longue distance qui relie les villes de l'agglomération lilloise: de Mouscron sur Tourcoing et Roubaix et à travers Villeneuve d'Ascq jusqu'au vieux Lille. Le parcours vous emmène devant des dizaines de joyaux d'archéologie industrielle, et parfois à travers des parcs et des îlots de verdure oubliés. Il est juste de l'autre côté de la frontière franco-belge et les quatre stations sont sur une ligne de train directe d'Anvers via Gand et de Courtrai à Lille Flandres. Lille, Tourcoing et Roubaix sont également reliés par une ligne de métro et deux lignes de tramway.
