Meurthe-et-Moselle Tourisme

The Meurthe-et-Moselle department lies in the heart of the Grand Est region and is crossed north-south by the V50, also known as La Voie Bleue , which runs from Luxembourg to Lyon, and east-west by the V52, which connects Paris to Strasbourg. These two major cycle routes are connected by La Boucle de la Moselle , a 90-km route whose route partially overlaps with that of the two cycle routes. A complementary network of 300 km of green axes offers safe and scenic escapes to discover the hidden gems of our region.

Along routes that often follow waterways, you'll discover an unexpected variety of landscapes interspersed with historic towns, authentic villages, and vibrant city centers. They invite you to relax and enjoy hedonism, reflection, cultural discoveries, and convivial moments at local festivals or spontaneous get-togethers.

For hikers, the area offers an abundance of trails for adventurous hikes or day trips: international long-distance trails (GR5, GR5F, GR570, etc.) and interdepartmental routes (GR 533, GR 534, GR 703), regional hiking trails, and circular walks for day hikes.
