Troisvierges ice lick trail: 19 km of natural beauty

We did this beautiful nature walk on 31.05.2022. The start is in Troisvierges, but for us it was better to start them in Boxhorn. The route is very well signposted and the paths are well maintained. Follow these markings, which can also be found on walking trees. The route can also be found on the www.visit-eislek.lu website , which tells the following about this route;

"The start is in Troisvierges. Then you will pass the monastery of Cinqfontaines. There, a monument commemorates the deportations during the Second World War. The route continues through the Trëtterbach valley to the mill of Asselborn. You will pass the village of Boxhorn and pass the wreckage of a fighter plane that crashed there during World War II. Along the Woltz and with a beautiful view of the monastery of Cinqfontaines in memory, you will return to Troisvierges. »

Lovers of public transport can take the free train to Troisvierges and join this loop with a starting route of 900 meters. Follow the marking of the access route "Escappe Ardenne Eisleck Trail", in this photo the marking on the arrow at the top left.
