Self-walking Derenbach

Nice varied hike that starts at the church of 'Derenbach'. After a small climb we reach the CR 309, which we follow in the direction of the N12. After we have crossed the N 12, we take a country road down to Oberwampach. We leave Oberwampach on the right to drive up and down to the CR 309. On the other side of the road, we walk along the edge of a forest that follows the CR 309 for a while to make a sharp left turn around a hill, and suddenly there is only forest. In the forest, we only go up to reach a country road, which we follow until we reach the CR 329b, which we follow to the right to the magnificent water tower. At the water tower we turn left to descend into the valley of the 'Saitertbaach'. Then we climb again towards the N12, which is followed briefly to the left to descend into the valley of the "Kirrelbaach", which we then follow in an upward trend towards "Derenbach". Nice walk over car-free roads, muddy forest paths, beautiful views and lots of ups and downs.
