The statue of the Sacred Heart by August Falise was placed in 1926 in front of the patronage 'St. Tarcisius'. It now stands on the forecourt of the R.C. St. Barbara Church. The sculpture was cast by the Brussels foundry J.P. Etermann.
The figure of Christ stands on a hemisphere, which has a frieze with a wave motif. He shows his hands with stigmata and a flaming heart on his chest. The sculpture stands on a square brick pedestal, which is closed with a roll layer. On the front of the pedestal the text
