Oud-Heverlee è un comune belga nel distretto di Leuven, nella provincia fiamminga di Vlaams-Brabant. Il comune conta oltre 11.000 abitanti. Oud-Heverlee si trova vicino al confine linguistico.
Il toponimo Heverlee deriva da hever, che significa "capro", e da lee o lo, che significa "boschetto". Heverlee è quindi un boschetto dove ci sono molti becchi. Il prefisso Oud indica infine che il villaggio è più antico del vicino Heverlee, che attualmente è una frazione di Leuven. Un'altra spiegazione potrebbe tuttavia essere che "Oud" è stato erroneamente tradotto dal francese "Haut", in questo caso Oud-Heverlee è la parte di Heverlee che si trova a monte.
