This route between the twin cities of Leuven and Louvain-la-Neuve is dedicated to the Big Bang and its founder Georges Lemaître. Start at his statue in Leuven and cycle through a wooded and hilly landscape to his statue in Louvain-la-Neuve. Along the way there are 8 rest points, where by scanning a QR code, you will learn more about the figure of Georges Lemaître, the big bang and the different steps in the evolution of the universe.

The sections between nodes 40 - 39 - 37 - 47 - 49 and between 76 - 77 - 78 - 55 - 54 - 51 - 52 - 44 are more suitable for mountain bikes.
