From the quiet village of Bierbeek, we take a tour along the hollow paths and alongside the Molenbeek to one of the last remnants (besides the Hallerbos and the Zoniënwoud) of the original Kolenwoud, namely the Mollendaalbos (itself part of the Meerdaalwoud). We walk through two completely different landscapes: an open landscape with wide views and the closed landscape in the forest. The many hollow paths in between complete the whole.
To reach the Chapelle St.-Corneille (at the southernmost point of the hike), you need to briefly leave the path.
