Se encuentra al norte del Gran Zschirnstein, por encima del pueblo de Kleingießhübel y está en el área de Reinhardtsdorf, municipio de Reinhardtsdorf-Schöna, en el distrito de Suiza Sajona-Osterzgebirge. La meseta de la cima, que se eleva de este a oeste, está cubierta de bosques. Mientras que el sur de la mesa se inclina suavemente, en el lado norte hay empinadas paredes de roca con algunas cumbres de escalada aisladas. Desde la cima se puede disfrutar de una amplia vista de la Suiza Sajona-Chev.
