Fromagerie du Vieux Moulin

Belgium is not immediately known abroad as a country of special cheeses. An exception is Herve cheese. Only in the Land of Herve is this pungent yet elegantly flavored cheese made. Le Vieux Moulin has cheese makers with a long tradition.

Experience on-site

  - Tour of the cheese factory (with museum) on Saturdays at 2:30 PM (€3/person)

  - Groups of more than 15 people can make reservations on other days

  - The cheese shop with its own cheese products is located in Herve

  - You can also find us at the weekly market in Fléron on Fridays, in Verviers on Saturdays, and in Aubel on Sundays

How to get there: You can reach the cheese factory two kilometers after departing in a valley between the green meadows.

Opening hours: On Monday and from Wednesday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and from 1:30 PM to 6:30 PM. On Saturday from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
