Friedrich-List-Berufskolleg Herford

The Friedrich-List-Berufskolleg is part of the vocational college centre of the Herford district on the Aawiesen. The Wilhelm-Normann-Berufskolleg and the Anna-Siemsen-Berufskolleg are also located here. The school's namesake is Friedrich List. The FLB is located directly on the Aa and in the vicinity of the Aawiesenpark. The Friedrich-List-Berufskolleg has 60 classrooms, which are divided into 3 small group rooms, 14 IT rooms, a self-study centre, an EVA room, specialist rooms and finally 40 classrooms. Physical education takes place in two sports halls, which the FLB shares with the two neighboring vocational colleges. In 2010, there were 118 teachers at the Friedrich-List-Berufskolleg, who taught about 800 vocational, 1000 full-time and 250 technical students in 15 educational courses.
