Description

El castillo de Borgwal es un castillo de agua con núcleo del siglo XVIII, adaptado a mediados del siglo XIX, situado en medio de un gran estanque con muros de mampostería, formando parte del riguroso diseño del jardín del siglo XVIII. El dominio del castillo cuenta con varios edificios anexos, incluida la monumental puerta de acceso, la plaza de ceremonial y el patio trasero que se construyó para el castillo con una disposición característica en forma de U, donde se agrupaban los diferentes servicios del castillo. En el patio trasero también se encuentra una monumental torre de palomas cuadrada, reconstruida en el siglo XIX a partir de un antecesor del siglo XVII. El dominio está provisto de un muro de contención de ladrillos con una capilla incorporada.
