Nördlich der Autobahn A12 und durch die Eisenbahnlinie Utrecht – Arnhem getrennt, liegt das Anwesen Rijnwijck. Aufgrund der isolierten Lage ist es nicht so bekannt und wenig besucht. Der Landsitz wurde zu Beginn des 17. Jahrhunderts erbaut und 1867 bereits abgerissen. Was davon übrig bleibt, sind Überreste des Burggrabens, der die Insel umschloss, auf der das Haus gestanden hat. Eschenholz ist charakteristisch für das Gebiet entlang der Kromme Rijn, so auch auf dem Anwesen Rijnwijck. Das starke Eschenholz eignet sich sehr gut zur Herstellung von Werkzeugstielen.
