The Ballasthoeve is an old 'brown' furnished café with two garden terraces and a playground for the very young. You can enjoy a nice Belgian beer and/or a coffee with Limburg pie. It is located in the Limburg Kempen, synonymous with lots of forests, greenery, and nature. You can also stay overnight in the accommodations or at the campsite.
The Ballasthoeve is a proud Host of Bosland!
As a Host of Bosland, I am part of a network of entrepreneurs who qualitatively inform visitors and guests about Bosland: the largest adventure forest in Flanders. This gigantic natural core of 5137 ha in North Limburg extends over the municipalities of Hechtel-Eksel, Pelt, Peer, and Lommel, and mainly consists of forests, heathland, grasslands, and stream valleys.
Bosland preserves and develops its beautiful and quality nature, but also opens it as much as possible to the general public. Sustainable development is a priority: National Park Bosland creates dynamics from the green. Do you want more information about all there is to experience? I am happy to assist you.
