Schmallenberg - bat tunnel

From the start in Schmallenberg, follow the logo with the bat on the well-signposted SauerlandRadring. Initially, the route goes slightly uphill towards Bad Fredeburg. Through the villages of Mailar, Dorlar, Bremke, and Sallinghausen, you then roll comfortably to Eslohe. From there, continue on the former railway line until you reach the famous Kückelheimer "bat tunnel" as a special highlight.
On the way back, drive back to Kückelheim and (re-) discover the beautiful Haverland until you reach the starting point of the tour in Schmallenberg again. Along paved paths and yet far from busy roads, you can enjoy the views in the land of a thousand mountains.
Along the route, you will find not only exciting views but also attractive leisure activities. For example, the LandDampLeute Museum in Eslohe. In this machine museum, you can marvel, touch, participate, and experience.
