Het Tornehuis was de voormalige woning van de kunstenaar Albert Servaes. Het werd gebouwd tijdens WO I op de plaats van een voormalig boerderijtje, naar een ontwerp van architect August Desmet. Albert Servaes woonde en werkte hier van 1917-1944.
