Has it rained recently? Then put on your rubber boots for this walk around Lasne. From lovely nature to traces of war: these three loops around just as many villages know how to captivate.

Lasne is one of the richest municipalities in Belgium, yet it has still preserved a rural character with many alleys, lovely valleys and hills, babbling brooks, sunken paths, and farm tracks. On our walk through the picturesque villages of Couture-Saint-Germain, high above Lasne, and especially Ohain with its beautiful village square, the church, and the old buildings, we pass by. The Battle of Waterloo is never far away, evidenced among other things by the monument to the German Count von Schwerin that we encounter on our way. The local nature conservation association has numbered the paths and alleys and provided them with name signs. We mostly follow unpaved paths and tracks, which can sometimes be muddy.
