Krostitz is a municipality in the district of Nordsachsen, Free State of Saxony. It belongs to the administrative community of Krostitz.
The municipality of Krostitz is located in the Leipzig lowlands bay about 15 kilometers northeast of Leipzig, ten kilometers southeast of Delitzsch, and ten kilometers west of Eilenburg. The B 2 runs through the districts of Krensitz and Krositz, and the Halle – Eilenburg railway runs through the district of Krensitz. The nearest motorway interchange is Leipzig on the A 14 – Leipzig Mitte. Krostitz is connected by Vetter transport services and Leupold bus services with a PlusBus and additional regional bus lines.
