Montferrand-du-Périgord is a commune in the Dordogne department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in southwestern France.
An exceptional survivor, with remarkable original wall paintings, it is the original village church, and stands within the cemetery up on the hill to the south of the village. It is not clear when or why the village moved away from this site; local, undocumented belief is that it may have been caused by a severe visitation of the plague.
It continued to function as the Commune church up to the Revolution of 1847, when the church down in the village was built.
