Wat Phikun Thong also called Wat Luang Pho Phae or Wat Phra Thep Singhaburachan, is an important Buddhist monastery on the east bank of the Chao Phraya Noi River in Vihan Khoa sub-district in Tha Chang district of Singburi province. Visitors mainly come to this temple to pay homage to the statue of Luang Phor Phae, a famous former abbot of the temple. The temple also houses Thailand's largest sitting Buddha image, 23 metres wide and 42 metres high, made of concrete and decorated with gold mosaic and called "Phra Yai Prathanphon" or "Phra Phuttha Suwan Mongkhon Maha Muni". The image was constructed by Luang Phor Phae. On the premises there is also the Luang Phor Phae Museum. The monastery is beautiful with a small lake, meditation gardens and neatly arranged buildings around the main image.
