El Campo de Concentración de Gusen I en Mauthausen, situado al este de Linz, en la región de Alta Austria, fue el segundo campo de concentración que establecieron los nazis el lo que acabaría siendo el complejo concentracionario Mauthausen-Gusen.Los campos Gusen I, Gusen II y Gusen III juntos tuvieron una tasa de mortalidad registrada más alta que el campo principal Mauthausen. Estaban además muy superpoblados, llegando en algunos momentos a tener asignados el doble de prisioneros que el propio “campo principal”.
