This group lists five bicycling tracks from Ayutthaya to Prachuap Khiri Khan in Central Thailand. All the bicycle tracks are part of The Scenic Route Bicycle Tour. The stretch of The Scenic Route biked is only a tiny part of the entire Royal Coastal Route. Our route starts in Ayutthaya and goes over Bang Len, Ratcha Buri, Petcha Buri (Chao Samran), and Hua Hin to Prachuap Khiri Khan.

The Scenic Route, also called the Royal Coastal Route, starts in Khlong Khon in Samut Songkhram Province at the exit of the Rama II Road and ends at the provincial border of Songkhla-Pattani as the route is not any more officially marked. Conceived more than a decade ago, the Royal Coastal Route was part of late King Phumiphon Adunyadet's plan to improve the infrastructure in the least-developed parts of the country. It was created by improving existing rural roadways and connecting them with more than 300km of new construction, including dedicated cycling lanes.

Ayutthaya Biking Adventure [ABA] is a sportive subsidiary of Ayutthaya Historical Research [AHR]. ABA’s objective is to promote bicycle tourism in and around Ayutthaya. Bicycling is the perfect outdoor recreation to explore Ayuttaya city island and its surroundings.
