Trip-advice of the month

Herfst

Autumn is exposing its brown, yellow and red colors again.

Time to go for that track in the forest.

We picked for you the route in New Hampshire of Ben09. The autumn colors there are hard to beat!

If you want to get some more ideas, we can suggest you the routes linked here to the group "routes through forests and woods".

Pytheas's Choice

Globespot of the month

Set-up

Every month, we ask somebody to be a modern Pytheas and tell us something about the most amazing place they have ever experienced, and explain why this is!

Globespots of the month: Bronkhorst, Gelderland, the Netherlands

Johan PotmanBronkhorst
The active RouteYou user Johan Potman brings us the new Pytheas spot of this month: Bronkhorst.
Source picture: Johan Potman
Having 150 inhabitants, Bronkhorst claims to be the smallest village of the Netherlands (but they are not the only one!). It got its cityrights in 1482. It is located along the river the IJssel. Thé place to be in Bronkhorst, is the main square: Gijbertplein. This place is loved by tourists, cyclists and motorbikers. It has also a Dickens museum in the Onderstraat. If you are lucky, you might even see Scrooge making publicity for this museum.

Are you our next Pytheas of the Month? Tell us about the most amazing globe-spot you have ever experienced! Or alternatively, ask a friend who you think has a favourite globe-spot and would like to share it with the RouteYou community.

Every month, we nominate a more technical item here which is linked to RouteYou activities, directly or indirectly. We have named this item in honor of Alan Turing.

You doubt between a walk and a cycling tour. Let this device inspire you:

Ik wil me ook afmelden, ik vind het niets. Het idee is leuk om een route te maken maar het werkt gewoon niet…(100km etc. slecht interface etc)
