Aquesta cascada es troba al parc de Chateau de la Fraineuse
A finals del segle XIX, les famílies Simonis i Peltzer de Clermont, industrials que van deixar empremta en la història de la indústria de la llana a Verviers, van comprar el solar i van construir aquest preciós castell a "pierres de France" (pedres franceses). inspirat en el Petit Trianon de Versalles. A més de la finca en gran part boscosa i el castell, també es van construir dependències: la "frainette" per a les cavallerisses i la "fermette" per a la casa del jardiner.
Des de l'any 1967 s'hi ubica un poliesportiu de l'ADEPS.
