Aquesta capella es troba a la cruïlla de la Rue Emile Parfonry i la Rue de la Libération.

Està dedicada a Saint-Gilles. Sant Gilles l'Eremita (també Egidius) és un dels catorze sants ajudants dels annals de l'Església Catòlica Romana. No se sap res amb certesa d'ell. Dins de l'Església Catòlica, els Auxiliadors d'Emergència es refereixen a un grup de catorze sants que són venerats i invocats com a grup i individualment. També són coneguts com Catorze Sants Auxiliadors. S'anomenen ajudants perquè ajudarien especialment amb tot tipus de malalties i trastorns.

Saint-Gilles o Egidius va ser ermità i abat i és invocat contra les plagues.
