Aquest banc es troba a l'única carretera on els ciclistes poden creuar el Lippensgoed .
Una mica més enllà es creuen el GR129 i el GR131 . El GR129 és "a través de Bèlgica" i recorre 573 km des de Bruges fins a Arlon. El GR131 es diu 'Brugs Ommeland - Ypres Salient' i té 142 km de llarg.
Al segle XX, Bulskampveld era propietat principalment de la família Lippens fins que van vendre el domini, inclòs el castell, a la província de Flandes Occidental el 1970. El castell té un centre de visitants i també hi ha un santuari d'ocells, un museu de maquinària agrícola i un jardí d'herbes.
