L'Institut Saint-Joseph Sacré Cœur de la Roche en Ardenne té els seus orígens l'any 1836, quan les Germanes de la Providència de Campió van obrir una llar d'infants i primària per a noies al barri del Faubourg: l'Institut Saint-Joseph.
L'edifici es troba molt sobre la ciutat. S'hi pot accedir des de baix a peu per la Rue Corumont i més endavant per escales. Arribes i aparques amb l'estàtua d'un Jesús ensenyant.
