Es tracta de la capella funerària de la família de Kerchove de Denterghem - Vilain XIIII, avui també anomenada Sint-Christoffelkapel.

L'any 1853 es va construir la capella de maó d'un sol tram sota teulada a dues aigües (pissarres, carener perpendicular al carrer). Porta d'ala de gavina amb reixa de ferro, amb les sigles DD ( de Denterghem) i el número XIIII (Vilain XIIII). Una estàtua de sant Cristòfol es va col·locar en un altar des de l'any 1787 (trasllat de la capella del convent).

La Confrérie Sint-Christoffel va ser fundada l'any 1926 i és responsable de l'organització de la consagració anual del cotxe al poble de Deurle.
