Premià de Dalt és una vila i municipi de la comarca del Maresme. El nom té el seu origen en la veu romana Praemiliano, conegut també pel nom parroquial de Sant Pere de Premià, canviat el 1980.
Se situa al vessant meridional de la serralada de Marina entre Premià de Mar, Vilassar de Dalt i Teià.
