Reinosa és un municipi i ciutat de la comunitat autònoma de Cantàbria i el centre administratiu i econòmic de la comarca de Campoo-Los Valles, a més d'un dels nuclis urbans més importants de l'interior de Cantàbria.
Està solcada pels rius Ebre, Híjar, Izarilla i Río de Las Fuentes. És la ciutat càntabra amb les temperatures mitjanes més baixes. El seu terme municipal està envoltat completament pel de Campoo d'Enmedio, sent Reinosa el municipi amb menys superfície de tota Cantàbria.
