Alaior és una vila i municipi, tercera població de l'illa de Menorca, és una comunitat artesana i industrial, amb una població de 9.477 habitants i un terme municipal de 107,20 kilòmetres quadrats. Conté un gran nombre de jaciments arqueològics, la qual cosa palesa l'antiguitat de l'ocupació humana.
