El temple d'August de Barcelona fou un temple romà dedicat al culte imperial a August, bastit a Bàrcino, colònia fundada amb el permís d'August, que seria amb el pas del temps la ciutat de Barcelona. Fou la part central del fòrum al cim del mont Tàber. Fou enderrocat pel pas del temps i a finals del segle xix se'n van trobar tres columnes en les obres de construcció de la seu del Centre Excursionista de Catalunya. Una quarta es trobava exposada a la plaça del Rei de la ciutat comtal i fou incorporada al conjunt que es pot visitar. És probable que s'iniciés la construcció del temple en època de Tiberi, que fou qui instituí el culte a August.
