Restaurant Cal Marçal es fundà al Febrer de 1984 per part de la família SAYÓS.
En els inicis només hi havia el Bar. L’any 1990 es va obrir el menjador de la planta baixa. I més endavant s’amplià amb el menjador de la planta superior.
L’any 1997 es va remodelar el bar adaptant-hi la botiga.
L’any 2009 la família Sayós amplia les seves instal·lacions amb la inauguració de l’Apart-Hotel Cal Marçal.
