El Croscat és un antic volcà situat entre els municipis de Santa Pau i Olot , al nord-oest de la vila, el més alt de la regió volcànica de la comarca d'Olot, de 786 msnm i 800 m de diàmetre de base. Forma part del Parc Natural de la Zona Volcànica de la Garrotxa.Té forma de ferradura. De tipus estrombolià, el seu con és el més gran de la península Ibèrica, amb 160 m d'alçada. És també, segons sembla, el més recent de tots. Té el cràter en un dels vessants. Al cim hi ha les restes d'una antiga torre de defensa.
