L'Onyar és un riu de Catalunya, afluent del riu Ter per la dreta. La seva conca comprèn els municipis de Brunyola i Sant Martí Sapresa, Vilobí d'Onyar, Riudellots de la Selva, Sant Andreu Salou, Campllong, Fornells de la Selva, Quart i Girona. Per tant, abraça la meitat nord del pla de la Selva, a l'extrem nord de la Depressió Prelitoral. Neix als contraforts nord-orientals de les Guilleries al municipi de Brunyola i Sant Martí Sapresa .
