L'autovia de la Mediterrània o A-7 és una autovia de titularitat estatal que travessa Catalunya, el País Valencià, la Regió de Múrcia i Andalusia. No es tracta encara d'un tram continu sinó de trams suplementaris a l'Autopista de la Mediterrània o de trams desdoblats de la N-340.
L'A-7 és la nomenclatura que rep la carretera N-340 convertida en autovia. La N-340 inicia el seu recorregut a Cadis i finalitza a Barcelona. Tanmateix, l'A-7 inicia el seu recorregut a Algesires i finalitza a Barcelona. Per tant, hi ha un tram en el qual la N-340 no ha estat reanomenada com a A-7: el tram entre Algesires i Cadis .
