L'Albaicín és un barri de la ciutat de Granada, a Andalusia, que conserva l'estructura i l'aspecte que tenia en l'època musulmana medieval. Fou declarat Patrimoni Mundial per la UNESCO el 1984, junt amb l'Alhambra i el Generalife.Inicialment, el poblament es va situar a la plana, a l'antiga ciutat d'Ilbira, però el segle xi, amb la caiguda del Califat de Còrdova, la inseguretat general va aconsellar el trasllat a l'Albaicín.
