L'Arxiu Històric Provincial d'Alacant té la seua seu a la ciutat d'Alacant. Creat per Ordre Ministerial del 24 de setembre de 1974, la seua titularitat és estatal, però la seua gestió està transferida a la Generalitat Valenciana des de 1983.
Conté fons històrics documentals de l'Administració de l'Estat a Alacant i protocols notarials centenaris del districte notarial.
