Les visites guiades a la central tèrmica de Cercs s’organitzen des del Museu de les Mines de Cercs, on cal trucar per fer la reserva. Les mines i la central sempre han estat molt relacionades, ja que per produir l’energia elèctrica de la central s’ha aprofitat, apart de carbó d’importació, el carbó de la conca minera del Berguedà.
