Marmanda és un municipi francès, situat al departament d'Òlt i Garona i a la regió de la Nova Aquitània. L'any 1999 tenia 23.727 habitants.La vila fou assetjada per Amaurí IV de Montfort en 1218 mentre era defensada per Arnau de Blancafort i Centulle d'Astarac, fins que el papa de Roma Honori III va convèncer els francesos del nord d'implicar-se més en la croada albigesa i Felip II de França va manar al seu fill Lluís de fer una incursió a Marmanda, on van massacrar tota la població, per a continuació dirigir-se a assetjar Tolosa.
