Gold, conegut comunament com Gold Beach, va ser el nom en clau d'una de les cinc zones de la invasió aliada de la França ocupada pels alemanys als desembarcament de Normandia el 6 de juny de 1944, durant la Segona Guerra Mundial. Gold, el centre de les cinc àrees, es trobava entre Port-en-Bessin a l'oest i La Rivière a l'est. Els alts penya-segats a l'extrem occidental de la zona van fer que els desembarcaments es produïssin al tram pla entre Le Hamel i La Rivière, als sectors anomenats Jig i King. Prendre Gold havia de ser responsabilitat de l'exèrcit britànic, amb transport marítim, escombrat de mines i una força de bombardeig naval proporcionada per la Royal Navy així com elements de les marines holandeses, poloneses i altres aliades.
