La Viena és un riu francès que travessa els departaments que porten el nom i una part de la Corresa, de la Charente així com l'Indre i Loira. Té una llargada de 372 quilòmetres i és un dels principals afluents del Loira, juntament amb el riu Allier i el riu Cher. El riu neix a l'Altiplà de Millevaches i s'escola per la plana de Touraine i travessa paisatges molt diferents, com la majoria de rius que sorgeixen del Massís Central i desemboquen a la Garona .
