El Wembley Stadium era un estadi multiús, però principalment utilitzat per a la pràctica del futbol, estava situat al barri del mateix nom a Londres, capital d’Anglaterra. Va ser l'estadi més famós de la Gran Bretanya i un dels més coneguts de tot el món.
Va ser inaugurat el 1923 en ocasió de l'exposició imperial britànica que havia de realitzar-se l'any següent, de fet el seu nom original era "Estadi Imperial" .
